After suffering a very bad break to my elbow I was referred to. Mr Auplish the elbow needed pinning this gave me cause for concern as I am an anaesthetic risk , mr Auplish listened to my concerns and gave me alternatives this in turn took away my anxieties. I cannot praise this man enough he is so kind and caring he has a lovely welcome when he walks into the room it puts me at ease straight away . Nothing is to much trouble and he listens and explains anything I'm not sure of he has a way of making you feel special . Keep up the good work mr Auplish and thank you for looking after me so well. Mr auplish is a fantastic surgeon he has helped me so much with my wrist. He looked at everything to relieve my problem. In the end he operated in May last year where he performed an Ulna shortening. He has given me my life back as i am able use my hand once again. He is empathic, kind, caring. Nothing is too much trouble for him. I was very saddened to hear that Mr auplish has gone to York. I will miss him he has got to be the best consultant i have ever seen. He will be missed at Queens by many patients and staff. Good luck in York. Mandy Munday xx
